Scroll to the group you want, tap WhatsApp, send what's already typed out for you. A person - not a bot - reviews it and gets you into the chat, almost always same-day and never past 48 hours. Skip the downloads, skip the sign-up, skip the fee.

No cost at all, ever. Every Berlin People Club group is free to join. Your number never gets sold, the chat stays free of spam, and there's no advertising running inside the groups.

Can I join more than one group?

Sure, and a lot of people do exactly that. Cycle to Grunewald on Saturday morning, pitch your startup on Tuesday, queue for a warehouse party on Friday? Cycling, Startups and Techno & Nightlife can all be yours at once.

What's the group size? Won't it be spammy?

Every group is capped at 250 and watched closely. Drop a promo, a crypto pitch, or something totally off-topic and it's gone within minutes, along with whoever posted it. Staying small is exactly what keeps the chat worth reading.

I've only been in Berlin for a few weeks. Worth joining?

Absolutely - Newcomers - First 30 Days exists for exactly that stretch. Expect Anmeldung advice within the hour, a welcome-dinner invite by week's end, and a few honest opinions on which Kiez actually suits you.

I don't have WhatsApp. Another option?

Most of Berlin's international crowd organizes through WhatsApp - flat viewings, meetups, recommendations, the lot. If you're new in town, it's the one app worth having. If that's really not an option for you, use the contact page and we'll see what else we can do.

Are these groups safe? Vetted?

Everyone goes through the same door: one intro message stating your name, your home country, a photo, and which group you're after. Flag someone for harassment or a scam and they're gone, no second chances. It's a community looking out for its own, not a marketplace.

Long-term Berlin residents and recent arrivals keep Berlin People Club going, driven by the idea that nobody should have to navigate this city solo. It began as one WhatsApp group back in 2021 and has grown into ten we moderate ourselves - a passion project, never a company.
